New players are welcome. We teach the game, build teams by grade and skill level, and place players in games with athletes of similar age and experience whenever possible.

Who Are We?

This team is part of Zig Zag Ultimate, a West Michigan Ultimate organization founded in 2012. ZZU offers programs for 3rd–8th grade, high school, adults, college teams, tournaments, and more.

Who Can Play?

​Anyone, boys and girls! We expect most to have never played before - maybe not even know the rules. Or how to throw a disc. As you keep coming you learn the game and how to throw. We work so hard to be welcoming and inclusive. 

Who Will We Play?

​We compete in the Zig Zag Ultimate League, established in 2012 — now with 45+ teams and nearly 500 players from all across the greater Grand Rapids area, including Rockford, Lowell, Grand Rapids, Hudsonville, Caledonia, and more.

Starting March 13th, you will be put on a waitlist if you register. If there is room available on the team, you will be added to the team. If there are no available spots, we will email you to discuss all available options.
